Project AIEd Kenya

Transforming Education with Artificial Intelligence

About Project AIEd Courses

Project AIEd Kenya is part of an online global network for policymakers, educators, community members, and students committed to transforming education and society in the interest of humanity. We accomplished this by leveraging AIEd’s affordances while mitigating its limitations through AI Governance and Human Oversight. The Goal of Project AIEd is to promote AIEd Research and Publications, Curriculum and Classroom Instruction, Dialogue, and related Information Dissemination.

Providing courses to AIEd stakeholders is one of our strategies for accomplishing this goal. All Project AIEd services are provided by volunteers who are educators with a high level of dedication to our cause. The services are free for both members and nonmembers.

The AIEd Course provided covers eight topics over about three months. The content, designed by our experienced educators, is not just theoretical but also practical, making it sufficient for policymakers, educators, students, and community members interested in using AIEd for research and education. Assignments will be provided and assessments will be made using AIEd Tools. A certificate of completion will be awarded to each participant who successfully completes the course.

Championing STEM Education in Kenya

Dr. Rose A. Mutende

Message from the Coordinator

Kibabii University has a culture of excellence in the three areas of teaching, research, and service. Continued success in executing the mandate of the Kibabii University calls for constant evaluation of its units with a view to improving their efficiency. This is particularly significant in the current rapidly changing higher education environment, both locally and globally. The establishment of the Centre of Science, Technology and Mathematics Education (CoSTEM) is, therefore, a response to that need, born out of the realization that STEM education is significant in the global development agenda.
